The Rab Expedition 1000 Sleeping Bag is the lightest in Rab’s collection of expedition bags. High-quality 850-fill down insulates this bag with a -22F temperature rating that’s more than suitable for 8000m expeditions. Rab finished the down in Nikwax for hydrophobic weather protection that retains the down’s lofty warmth inside damp tents. The Pertex Quantum Pro shell reinforces the bag’s weather protection with water resistance as well as windproof, down-proof durability. The Expedition 1000 Sleeping Bag has a slightly oversized mummy shape so you can wear expedition clothing comfortably while in the bag. The compression sack is a dry bag for protection on the ascent and descent, and the zippered storage sack has a water-resistant base for at-home storage.
