This remarkable titanium woodstove is an award winner for its ultra-high efficiency, compactness, and ease of use. The three stove components next together for storage and travel, then lock together in a stack when assembled for cooking.
The design of the air intakes and pre-heating chambers created by the stove components burn both the wood itself and the wood gasses through secondary and tertiary combustion.
Features
- Titanium construction resists corrosion and withstands high temperatures
- Advanced construction and physics use pre-heated air to burn gasses and create complete combustion through gasification
- Optional titanium cross bars provide a secure cooking platform for pots of 115 mm or less.
- Nests together for compact storage and includes a durable nylon stuff sack.
This stove burns with the best performance when gasification occurs. Generally, we suggest:
1. Packing vertically-oriented sticks in the stove for the best utilization of space.
2. Ensuring that there is sufficient space between the sticks to allow airflow, even when packed tightly.
3. The wood fuel is kept below the top side holes of the bottom internal cylinder. These holes are for hot air (1B in the diagram) to enter and mix with the combustion gasses and should not be blocked.
4. If additional burn time is needed, wood can be added through the small window in the top cylinder. Ideally, the initial fuel supply should be sufficient for the entire cooking session; consistently adding small amounts of wood through the burn cycle reduces efficiency and lowers the temperature of the fire while the added fuel is heated.
